- OUT OF ORDER -

Yes, so I haven't posted here for a while. Basically, I'm just here to say that I've stopped doing pictures as it's becoming more and more difficult to maintain. Therefore I've started a while ago, a new blog which is basically a sort of 'diary'/philosophy sort of thing-ish. Which I post on quite regularly. Anyway, please check that out, thanks!

Mes Rêves Épanouis

So, a friend asked me; "What's Your Favorite Picture?", I was completely lost. After years of looking through editorials in Vogue & 125. Shameful. So, as i woke up this morning with a head spewing with the dream i just had, i realized some of the best images i've viewed in my life have been in my dreams. Now, i can't show you pictures of my dreams because A. That's Impossible & B. That would ruin the magic of it. So instead i'm showing you pictures that maybe reflect the images that can be seen in a lot of my dreams. Welcome... To My World....

This is creepy. But there's this house across from my street and in the dream, it's not too dissimilar to how the weather is here. I've had the dream set here reoccurring for as long as i can remember.

I vividly remember weatching a programme with my brother when i was very young about this street, Rowley Way in the UK. Ever since, it tends to be where i'm living if i'm not on the run or at my own current house (but weirdly in my old room)

It's a bit creepy, coz this happens a lot, some guy like 'welcomes' me to my dream or something. If i have a dream sequence, he's always there at the beginning, masked, standing in a doorway looking at me, and i'm walking towards him, and it stops. I wanna know what't behind him!

Usually on the run, on my own, don't know why, but i often end up on a desolate road with one lamp in the distance in the middle of the road. Im running away from something but i don't know what.

This happens quite a lot. (p.s. I tend to be the one on the right - hmm)

Very rarely do i end up in a 'paradise' but when i do, it looks as blury and as bright as this.

An everlasting walkway at night. Seems to be a favorite location of my dream-self.

As you can tell, i have some pretty dark dreams. The reason these are my favorite images, are because they're very mysterious, and i've know most of them since as long as i can remember. I don't tend to have very many 'new' dreams, and if i do, i always have them again at some point. My subconscious is obviously a massive fan of re-runs. I really want to draw all the se images. from my dreams, so i can show a more accurate view :) These are merely 'reflections'.

I FUCKING ♥ DETROIT

DETROIT IS IN RUINS
OR IS IT A BLANK CANVAS,
A FREE CITY
MORE?

Detroit has got so much shit as the descent of capitalism, a failure of an American city. People fail to see the opportunity offered in Detroit; 24 Year Olds with free reign over 9 story buildings, Urban farming & More.
This is the city of opportunity. And It's Beautiful.

BUT THERE'S MORE TO DETROIT THAN RUIN AND WRECK. THERE'S OPPORTUNITY, COMMUNITY & A VIBRANT CULTURE THROUGHOUT THE CITY.

Don't Look

She's Not Ten Yet - It Scares Me

Harmless Fun?
Brooke Shields: In This Picture She's 10.  She's Heavily Made Up. She's Also Naked & Doing A Photoshoot. Legally,  In The UK, This Photo Can Only Be Fully Seen In A Gallery. Seeing This In The Tate Modern Is Quite Frankly Shocking, What's More Shocking Is Looking Behind You And Realizing The Exhibition Is Full Of Older Men. 0 Women. I Left Immediately.

It's There, You Can Find It Anywhere, You Don't Even Need To Look

Short of getting soppy, and not dissimilar to those people i hate who preach about love and giving and how great there life is for them because they love everything in their lives, i would like to take a moment to separate the wheat from the chaff, and say that love isn't everywhere, like everything in life, for things to work, moderation is the key. (Unless you want to have fun, in which case EXCESS!!!) The same thing applies to loving, don't love everything, that would make you very approachable, but also very boring, learn to hate as well. But please, take a moment, to anyone who finds this, to appreciate the love you get and give... It can happen to anyone, and it happens all around everyone everyday.

The Sprawl

A really good song. I swear to god she's singing about me!

Runaway - Kanye West

At first I was skeptical about this, after all, Kanye's music videos often involve gratuitous nudity and so  forth, but this was mesmerizing. Even though there was 'nudity' it was tasteful, and overall, i thought this was really beautiful, the album is a wonderful listen and this is a brilliant companion and also a wonderful way to listen to the album. Well Done.

I Am, We Are

What If He Loves Me...
What If They Know...
What If I Don't Want To...
What If He Is Forever...
What If He Is For A Week...
What If We're For Never...
What If It's The Wrong Time...
What If It's The Wrong Place...

Fuck It.

What If I Didn't Do It.
What If We Never Were.
What If I Wasn't Happy?

I Am, We Are.

Because We Can | We Can't Do Anything About That

Make It Right

Youth don't fail me now, I need you more than ever, You see the change in me, and nothing's new forever... One step and a little touch can change the way you feel tonight, one word can break your heart but one kiss can make it right. To dream my dreams without a trace, of all the broken things that's what i need tonight, what i need tonight, what i need tonight, what i need tonight Because anyone can be replaced and any fool can tell you "it'll be alright it'll be alright, it'll be alright, it'll be alright..."

The Message

Do what you want, because after all, doing what you want to your rules, or, indeed, lack of them, is what makes us beyond just human.

Be hedonistic if you want to, dance crazy all by yourself to the sound of nothing or to the song only you seem to like. Build a fort out of sheets, play games you played when you were five years old, run out in the rain wearing nothing but a dressing gown, lie on the grass; even if it is wet. Run, skip, jump wherever you want to, dance like a slut, stay up for as long as you want, and sleep when you want. Go for a walk in the small hours of the morning, play in the fountains, even if the water is cold. Be as spontaneous or ritualistic as you want. Go as slow or fast as you want to. Talk as much or as little as you want to. Don't be who you want to be;    Be who you are and watch everyone else love you for it.

Excess... The Good Kind, Or The Bad Kind?

Guilty Pleasure: Good

Victim: Bad
No. Bad.
This far? Bad.

Tasty : Good

Let's Share

Sharing everything with someone is great. That feeling of complete dependence actually becomes a good thing, like you don't need to care about anything, because at the end of the day he/she will always be there, waiting. I think it should be something experienced by everyone. But [and there's always a but], sometimes, it comes to an end, it can be something you cause, or, as I experienced, it can be very much the other party that cuts you off from there life, and there's something very addictive about love, it's great when you're doing it, but as soon as its gone, you crave it, you feel as if you can't live without it; and that's horrible; really horrible. But it's important not to be resentful of what you had with someone else, because in so many ways, that experience will shape you more than you'll know. You won't ever get over that addiction, until, as we learn in the world today, we get addicted to something else. So fall in love with yourself, with your best friend, with Gavin Henson's abs, whatever... Just have a renaissance and renewal of one's soul or go full circle back to your former self. Most importantly, realize it's not all that bad.
